In addition to having long legs and legions of admirers, the Rockettes 2000 doll and Barbie apparently both share the same eyes, nose, and mouth. So sayeth the Second Circuit in Mattel, Inc. v. Goldberger Doll Mfg. Co. and Radio City Productions, LLC, holding that an "upturned nose, bow lips, and widely spaced eyes" cannot be copied by competitors. See previous Barbie litigation posts.
